3. Highlights of patient care provided :
§ Carrying out pulmonary function tests including DLGO studies, measurements of lung volumes.
§ Bronchoscopy including BAL, Transbronchial biopsy, endobronchial biopsy, transbronchial FNAC procedures etc.
§ Respiratory allergy skin testing with immunotherapy.
§ Respiratory intensive care with invasive and non-invasive ventilators.
§ Respiratory physiotherapy services are being provided for both inpatients and outpatients at JIPMER and also at Govt. Hospital Chest Diseases.

Flexible fibreoptic bronchoscope, Pulmonary function test system, Pulmonary function test system with carbon monoxide diffusion studies, Pulse oximeter, CPAP system, BIPAP S ventilator, T. bird ventilator, Portable spirometer (Sprio bank), ECG Machine with monitor,T.V., VCR and tape recorder.

v Effect of diethyl carbamazine citrate on diffusion capacity in tropical pulmonary eosinophilia.
v Clinical and radiological profile of pulmonary tuberculosis associated with diabetes mellitus.
