Presenter
must be a registered delegate. One of the authors of the paper should be
an ISHTM member (ISHTM membership form may be downloaded from the ISHTM
society website www.ishtm.org) or the
presenter of the paper should be introduced by an ISHTM member.
Guidelines
for submission of Abstracts:
- Last date of submission to organizing secretary
is 15th June, 2008.
- Abstract should be within 300 words
- It should fit into 16x10cm box
- Font size: 12, Font Type: Times New Roman,
File: Ms Word document
- Abstract should contain title of the paper,
name of authors and institution and e-mail address.
- Presenting author should be underlined.
- Abstract should be prepared under the headings:
Background, aim of the study, methodology, result and
conclusion.
- Presenter should specify whether paper should
be considered for oral or poster presentation or any (single case
report will be considered for poster presentation only)
- Abstracts should be sent by e-mail to ishtm2008@gmail.com as
attachment.
- The selection committee will intimate about the
selection of abstract and mode of presentation along with
instructions by 15th July, 2008. Abstracts will be judged on the
basis or originality, scientific content, methodology and
interpretation of result.
Travel scholarship:
Three best abstracts will be
considered for travel scholarship for the presenter in AC-2 tier by
train. This is to encourage more
participation in free paper presentation.
Prizes :
There will be one prize for
the best paper presented in each free paper session and two prizes for
posters.
